How did you interpret the themes?
Genre Collision, taken literally: TD-808 is a tower defense that is also a step sequencer, and neither half is a skin on the other. Alsot it is roguelike!

Oh my God, this might be the coolest game i have ever played. Have a blast with it. Apparently you can create a tower defense with music! This might be nitpick, but there should be a bigger permanent currency (coins, etc) panels at the top bar. Good job, man! The UI is very tidy but if you want to sell it you should make it more stylized instead of make it looks like a music sofware. Good job and good luck!

Tottaly agreed, I got a bit carried away with the "I want it to look like a groovebox"

Tower defense on a step sequencer is such a clever collision. My towers on E3, F3 and G3 unlocked the SCALE RUN combo, and suddenly the top note was firing twice, so the layout was literally a little tune. The speaker blew on wave 7 because I hoarded coins instead of building, which the tip called out perfectly. Lovely presentation too.

Incredible idea, I liked it.

Wow great game! I had so much fun with this game and I loved that your towers create the music. This is a little nit-picky, but I would have liked to see a page talking about how to create minor and major cord. Having that would have made this a really interesting tower-defense and educational game as the more you learn about music theory the better you do. Still a really fun game overall though :)

Really interesting and well made! Combining tower defense with a beat machine is a clever idea. Great work, I’d love to see more!

Amazing game and idea. But I played multiple levels and had zero idea what i was doing.

If it was fun, that’s enough!

(You’re building towers. Think of it as a tower defense game with a weird interface, and everything will fall into place.
The music will start  matter for building combos once the game becomes crystal clear)
