Nice game

Pretty fun. I love the environment and the gameplay loop. A few humbly suggested improvements:

- Perhaps slow down the unit-spawning enemies. One of them creates a new enemy every 2 turns, so if you spawn in a level with two of them, it's almost impossible to kill enemies faster than they're spawned.
- It's hard to heal. My strategy is to have the allies take all the hits, since they return with full health, but I feel like I'm abusing the system.
- It took me a few runs to realize that you can take *all* loot after winning a fight, not just pick one. Maybe disable the "Done" button or add "Are you sure?" if some loot has not been taken.
- Add a setting for faster play, with less moving/animation.
- Progression is very luck based. Seems to require getting excellent items/allies and weak enemies to progress.

Very interesting, and thanks for the feedback! Super appreciated. Its tough to know how to balance this stuff when I have some play-testers beating it every run, and some dying a LOT. I really like the suggestion to provide an option to speed up the enemy turn.

"It's hard to heal. My strategy is to have the allies take all the hits, since they return with full health, but I feel like I'm abusing the system." - this is a GOOD strategy, not an exploit.

I will take all of this into consideration.. balance is HARD dude

Thanks so much for playing I hope to keep improving this and making it fun for all

Thanks, I figured out how to beat the boss. Can you make it easier to tell what the status symbols mean? For example, have a mouse-over that explains what effect the little red circle has?

Congrats! nicely done, you're one of the few :)

And yea, I have hover tooltips for all of that stuff, if you right click your unit, it will 'pin' the card preview on the left and allow you to hover

I have had it on my list for a while though to make this easier or more intuitive to find, or even overhauling the status stuff so its in a more easy to find place.

good advice
