This game hurts so, so beautifully. It has the monsters, yes, but that's not what the fear is, nor where it stems from. It's this strange, longing-like sense of fear that's almost calming in its finality. It's like being dragged under the ocean depths, but being embraced by the waves as you close your eyes.
Incredibly gripping story, with visuals and audio providing an immersive atmosphere. I particularly liked the transitions, they built the suspense quite well
This was well written and illustrated!
I wish there was more, honestly. The atmosphere was perfect, and the dread was potent. I loved the sound design. I wish we interacted and learned more about Jonah through the MC. The art is wonderful!
it was so
gut-wrenching
for me when I play this, its been a while since i play a visual game so i hope on to see what's new. Its short but impactful in the way its written and i love Jonah in a way i could feel his distress and fear as well as the mc i love how them as a person as junior researcher was written , it make me love ever second of this novel, it hooked on me on how it will end, well all are doom for both mc and Jonah but it feel real like I'm with them in a way i was so invested for them aaaah and the little extra content cheer me up when i felt sad after it ended (reach 3 of the endings) and the visual for Jonah was so nice too see , i love how the art style have a bit of soft tender vibe while still have that rusty like effect i think? i don't know how to describe with words
BEAUTIFUL!!! I would genuinely kill for an extra scene with Jonah after we got out. Love this game so much!!
Short but it was incredible, the art is genuinely gorgeous, the story is on point, id love another game like this
Lovely game. I wanna hug Jonah
The art is wonderful. Great job, guys! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The story kept me hooked until the very end. I didn’t expect Jonah to be the one responsible, though I would’ve guessed it was some kind of anomaly in the form of a guardian entity. The colors really help set the mood, and the sound design genuinely gets you good! Overall, the story keeps you on edge while still giving you little moments to catch your breath. At one point, I even got some Half-Life vibes from the story.
I would’ve loved for the story to be a bit longer, but I know from personal experience how much work goes into building the atmosphere, while still leaving enough time to actually develop the story itself. Good luck with your future projects!
Actally among one of the best games ive ever played on here, 10/10
really enjoyed this experience! i love Jonah and the atmosphere that was created
i really liked this game <3 Jonah is so sweet
Gorgeous character, the story's scope was very effective for what it set to do. The staging and text effects were great too. At some point, I hid the textbox to admire the art and it was funny how the sprite stops just below it XD
Also so much bonus content in the art gallery! It was a delight to look at.
You could really feel the despair and oppressiveness sink in as the story progressed and the options dwindled day by day.
Very amazing, this is one of the best vn's ive played here so far. the writing. atmosphere and everything was so beautiful and tragic. made me very emotional and the art is wonderful.
such a wonderful, chilling, emotional little game. the art is gorgeous and the music and sound design are so good. the story is extremely compelling and immersive.
What an amazing game! The moment I reached the first ending, I immediately started a new playthrough, and that went on until i managed to get all three endings.
Huge praise to everyone who worked on this project. Like all of it was so so amazing, the visuals, the music and the storytelling are fantastic. I really hope to see more of it in the future, especially if voice acting can be implemented. I believe that would be the cherry on top!!
I played this with my studio partner tonight and we absolutely loved it! We got invested very quickly and it was such a well written story and experience! The atmosphere and sound design were immaculate and you did a wonderful job portraying the absolute dread of the characters and the hopelessness of the situation. I also really like how we got right into the story with very little messing around, you were very effective with the exposition. You're sitting in one room for the entire game and it never felt repetitive or boring, I was fully interested the entire time. We obviously went through it afterwards and got all the endings.
I also have a tall, blond oc with long hair with a similar vibe whose lore we made into our entry for the jam, so we got attached to Jonah VERY quickly haha! We love oc brainrot in this household.
We had a great time playing this and I can't wait to see what else you cook up in the future!

I fell in love with all of the writing, and also Jonah, it left me wanting more but in such a plesant way, it definitely incites love for the world and that draws fandom and fan works!! Loved playing through it was very immersive! Definitely felt some psychological horror elements!!
