Hello, I am looking to get my foot in the door of the game industry as a QA tester and eventually a producer and wondered if anyone had need of any help with their projects. My main career experience is in sales, and I also have experience with digital art but not at a super high level.

Free of charge. Please message me.

hey! i saw your post about wanting to get some QA experience and figured i’d reach out.

i’m working on Gilded Horizons, a PC social sandbox game being made in Unity. we’re still pretty early rn and focusing on getting the basic prototype working first, so once we have a build ready i’d mainly want help testing simple stuff like movement and interactions.

nothing super formal, mostly things like what broke, what you were doing when it happened, whether you could make it happen again, and anything that felt confusing or awkward.

just wanna be upfront that we’re pre-funding, so this would be unpaid. if that sounds like the kind of testing experience you’re looking for, i’d be happy to tell you more about the project.

Hey rawrxdee!

I came across your post about wanting to gain experience as a QA Tester, and I think you might be a great fit for something I'm working on!

I'm the founder and solo developer of Basiful Games (https://www.basifulgames.com/), an independent project focused on developing games, websites and software.

I've been handling everything myself so far, including development, QA, marketing and project management, but I'm now looking for people interested in contributing and gaining real experience.

QA / Test Engineer is actually one of the roles I'd most like to bring someone into!

You'd be able to test real projects, explore features, identify bugs, report issues and suggest improvements. No programming knowledge is required for manual testing.

I also have an internal staff management platform with schedules, work proposals, bug reports and activity summaries, so everything is organized.

Just to be transparent, I can't offer payment. I'd love to start with a small, optional testing session and see how things go. If you're interested in continuing afterwards, we can arrange sessions around your availability. There are no fixed daily working hours.

I also noticed you're interested in eventually becoming a producer, which is interesting, as I manage several different projects and their development processes.

One question: what country or time zone are you based in? I'm in Portugal and ideally looking for people in a similar time zone.

Would you be interested in having a chat about it?

Thanks! :)
