What are the chances that wild Crabrawler has the punching glove? And is it specific to any area that it could spawn? On my second playthrough I captured a Crabrawler on Route 3, holding the punching glove that got me through Lorelei's "elite" four and deal with a bit of Courtney.
Im asking, since I don't think the current walkthroughs cover item chance.

Wild Crabrawler have a very low chance to hold an Aspear Berry.
I believe you are mixing up capturing a wild Crabrawler with stealing the Crabrawler from Blackbelt Chuck, who is near the small bridge on the eastern end of the route. When stolen, this Crabrawler is holding the Punching Glove. This item is exclusive to the Mind Control mechanic and does not appear when this mon is Possessed.
