Wild Crabrawler have a very low chance to hold an Aspear Berry.

I believe you are mixing up capturing a wild Crabrawler with stealing the Crabrawler from Blackbelt Chuck, who is near the small bridge on the eastern end of the route. When stolen, this Crabrawler is holding the Punching Glove. This item is exclusive to the Mind Control mechanic and does not appear when this mon is Possessed.

Yeah, your right. I was confusing them, since I forgot to steal the Crabrawler on the first save going through route 3, but remembered to steal and capture one on my second playthrough. I just fused those memories into one. Now, my Butterfree is fat from all the berries.
