Nice defense game! Reminded me of Kingdom Rush. I did get a bit motion sick from the excessive screen shaking when one of my bases was being overwhelmed, or perhaps that was just the feeling of defeat ;)
Nice use of the chain theme here with crafting new heroes between rounds. Took me a little too long to find the 3x speed button though haha.
Pretty solid TD with unit merging mechanics. I liked that every level was not just a different look and layout around the central town, but something new and unique. Keeps you from getting bored.
I ran into a small bug though. When enemies broke through to my town, I could not place a unit near it to defend it. There were too many of them, and the placement was being blocked. Also had an issue with fullscreen. The game stayed the exact same size.
But overall, the game is absolutely excellent! Well done! ❤️
I liked the reroll chain mechanic — watching a card climb from Rare to Legendary felt great, and the sprite art for the heroes is clean and readable at a glance. The auto-battle pacing kept me engaged while I dragged heroes around to plan the next wave. One suggestion: a quick visual cue showing which lane each enemy wave is heading for would help with faster positioning decisions.
I'm not very familiar with tower defense games, but this one was easy to get into since everything fits on a single screen, and the difficulty wasn't too punishing. With features like speed controls, nice effects, and unit merging, you can really tell a lot of thought went into it.
