Wow really unique visual style - absolutely gorgeous!
Reminded me of 'Is this seat taken?' that I played a while back, but a bit more stressful! ;) Nice job! I didn't get right away that you had to click on the clipboard and the schedule for them to appear, so I was a bit confused as how to know what each guest wanted. Perhaps you could also do something with icons that show what the preferences are of each guest?
That would probably be sensible icons, yes, I will try to incorporate that if I get around to a post-jam version. Hm, maybe add the buttons or animations to the intro to inform players better... ? Yes, ITST? was a big inspiration!
This is a very fun concept, stressful, but funny!
Haha, yes, the new event manager job is certainly not for the faint of heart! Thanks!
The art style is amazing! Really unique and original game. Great job! ❤️
Glad you think so, thank you!
Special prize for artwork!
Fresh looking and good idea!
Thanks! I love puzzles of ordering by position and requirements a lot, and I was glad I managed one for this jam.
Very good looking and enjoyable to play, both the sound and visuals are really nice, and the gameplay fits the theme well in an original way, good job !
The intro writing made me laugh out loud, and the isometric club scene with the confetti/fog callouts is super charming. I'll be honest — I had trouble figuring out how to actually seat a guest (tried clicking and dragging onto the tiles but couldn't get it to register), so I might be missing something about the controls. Would love a quick on-screen hint for the very first placement!
Right, that would be sensible. Sorry you had trouble. If you go again, the stars on the dancefloor tiles are snap points, as are any chairs. There are some improvements I would like to make to the placing of the guests; maybe a post-jam version. Glad you had a laugh!
