It's A Long Way Down by CoolestOneOfThemAll

Hey! I have a suggestion for A Long Way Down! Could you make it clearer that the kid is in real danger when falling from a great height? 😨

It would be cool to show the ground getting closer, add stronger wind sounds, make the camera shake slightly, and use a dramatic warning effect as the kid falls. If he hits the ground, a screen effect and a game-over scene could show how dangerous the fall was.

These details could make the falling feel more intense and help players understand the risks while playing. Keep up the good work! 🚀

I dont want feedback from AI.

🚗 Civic Dynamics — Free City Builder & Traffic Simulator!

Hey everyone! I'm a solo indie developer working on Civic Dynamics, a city-building simulation where traffic, economy, and your decisions shape the city.

🏙️ Build and expand your city
🚦 Manage roads, intersections, and traffic lanes
🏭 Develop businesses, factories, and logistics
💰 Balance taxes, electricity, and the city budget
🚗 Watch individual cars move through your city

The game is currently in early alpha and is completely free to play in your browser!

I'm looking for players and feedback to help improve the game.

🎮 Play here: https://gamejamestudio.itch.io/civic-dynamics

Thanks for checking it out! ❤️

**Eryndor — The Last Vigil** (free playtest build, Windows)

Pixel art survivor-like in the vein of Vampire Survivors, with a story: you play Kael, who keeps returning from death. Nine regions, 13 weapons with evolutions, bosses, hand-made places (towns, mines, castles, a forest sanctuary) and a hub that changes as you progress.

Early test build (0.9.0) — I'd love to hear about crashes, anything that looks off, and difficulty.

This game was made by AI.

Hello! Just finished Chapter 1 of my game!

About 10 quests (main and side quests) and mini-games ( fishing, lumberjacking, grave digging, hunting,) so far

Please take a look at it, (CG, BG and nsfw scene are AI generated)

I like the angled, top-down 2D view (something I want to try in the future). Your map image looks especially clean and engaging. Makes you want to explore what is beyond the borders. And grave-digging!? I have played enough fantasy games to know…the dead don’t always stay dead, so be careful all ye who enter that graveyard!

Hi everyone! I'd like to share a project I've been working on: **SIMPL**, a free interpreted language and IDE that runs pseudocode exactly as it's written.

It's built on the official Cambridge pseudocode guide (AS & A Level Computer Science, 9618), which thousands of students use for their exams but usually can only write on paper. With SIMPL they type an algorithm, press Run, and see the result, or an error explained in plain words.

A few things that might interest fellow devs:

• The guide is a spec meant for paper, full of gaps: SIMPL fills them as a strict **superset**, and a "Cambridge strict mode" lists every extension a program uses, with the guide section it refers to

• A full IDE: syntax check while typing, a debugger with Step Over/Into/Out, and a **trace table filled in automatically** as the program runs

• Classes, inheritance, pointers, records, files, plus graphics, sound and keyboard input: the sample programs include a small BASIC interpreter and a falling-blocks game, both written in SIMPL itself

• Free, offline, no installation, Windows and Linux

One small favour: SIMPL is free and aimed mainly at young students, so being discovered is the hardest part. If you try it and genuinely find it useful, a like or a short review on AlternativeTo would really help it reach the people it's made for:

https://alternativeto.net/software/simpl--pseudocode-interpreter/about/

Only if you think it deserves it, of course. Feedback of any kind is just as welcome. Thanks for reading!
