But I am wondering, could you make a skip chapter that unlockes all the lewd scenes / gallery fully ( but not the new scenes ) for players that already played throughout the whole game? Hi, I'm actually not Caribdis, the developer, I'm just the Eternum fan & modder who wrote this Android installation guide that you're commenting under. But worry not, I will forward your suggestion through the appropriate channels.
Though if you ask me, I think that it's unlikely that the vanilla game will support the feature you're requesting, since the game likes to have you make decisions and later offer consequences for those decisions. Having an easy way to obtain a perfect game state would psychologically diminish the weight of the decisions you made, since potential consequences would become more easily avoidable. I don't doubt that the feature you suggested would be useful to some players, but I can't see vanilla Eternum actually accepting this tradeoff.
However, something that is still in the cards is a community solution, something simple like shared save files, or something more sophisticated like a mini mod that will let you start the game from any chapter + give you some configuration options, like customizing the MC's name for example. I actually have plans for such a project, so even if the vanilla game won't implement your suggestion, in the future there will probably be a way to do what you're suggesting through a mini mod made by the community.
And if it's just about lewd scenes, there already are mini mods that can unlock the gallery for you:
well, you've done such a great job as a fan and modder for this game I almost thought you were the dev! That was just a suggestion, but if you could do it you could mod a minimod to do that, It's just that I can't access discord because of my country so I can't access the mod that unlocks all scenes. If you're kind enough, ( I know you are ) you can put the link / the downloader for the minimod ( no exceptions mod ) in your reply 😁
I have no easy way of just sharing a file, instead you can:
- First, you need an app that can create and edit txt files. This app for example.
- Create a new txt file in your game's "game" folder. Name it something like "gallery_unlock.txt"
- Open that file in your app and paste in this code:
init 999 python:
for scene_idx in range(len(replays)):
renpy.mark_image_seen(replays[scene_idx][0])
- The spaces before line 2 and 3 are important! Don't remove them.
- Then you save the file and change the file name's suffix to rpy, so now the file name would be "gallery_unlock.rpy"
- When you run the game, all scenes should be unlocked now
- After you close the game again, you can remove the rpy file and the rpyc file that got produced, the scenes will stay unlocked
