It's kinda surprising...

Same here. I was surprised too.

I've seen also sometimes.

Until then, it was only occasionally because ChatGPT searches were mostly limited to trending topics.

Me too, but i usually dissmissed because i use to search for myself online from time to time, you know, like the good old 'googling your name'. But until...

Yeah, I'm pretty sure i didn't search for my arse that much in the last 30 days.

I suspect that it may be people using ChatGPT for online searches instead of just google.

Really?

Hey chatbot, I am making a game. I seek pixel art assets in 48x48 format that can be used in a school or academy setting and are fantasy themed.

And yes, currently chatgpt will put this as the first result. https://seul0527.itch.io/48x48-grand-academy-dorm-pack?utm_source=chatgpt.com

Notice how the source is written in the url. Not sure if clicking that link now will also register as a hit by chatgpt or an internal hit from this topic.

Yes GEO is now as important as SEO and optimizing it to get more exposed to potential users is definitely a plus. 😎

Yeah they do! I used to think those ChatGPT and Gemini referrers were just from AI bots pulling data and presenting them to search prompts until I got this comment:

Which means there are people who actually click on the suggested links!
