The story is absolutely amazing, and the art is really beautiful too! I ran into the wire issue at the beginning as well, but after that, I was completely on the edge of my seat as I played through the story. Unfortunately, after the main character remembered the murder, the clock scene appeared and the game got completely stuck. Is that the actual ending, or just another bug?

Anyway, the story is fantastic! I especially loved the signal synchronization part, particularly since I’m an engineer by background. Great job!

Developer

The clock scene is the end of the game, and it was supposed to play the credits—making this another bug. I appreciate your patience in playing through to the end despite all these issues.

The signal synchronization mechanic was definitely the most frustrating part of development for me. Initially, I made the accuracy requirements perfectly match the goal wave, but it turned out to require too much precision. I loosened the tolerance to make it more forgiving so that I wouldn't have to keep struggling through it myself every time I needed to debug other parts of the game. Later on, I decided to leave it that way for the final production version as well.

Thank you for your review.

Hey just wanted to say that I did try out your game. I really liked the visuals and what you were going for so despite running into the bug with the wires (I couldn't get pass the wire part in firefox but then got it to work in chrome in fullscreen but even after restarting a few times I would have an issue suddenly with the orange wire) I still kept going. The art and sfx were well done and I do LIKE the idea of the minigames! The story setup was also interesting enough to draw me in  as well!

(Also it was a good call to have the youtube vid of explaining the bug fix too!)

Thanks for your review, I didn't expect people to try and complete the game despite getting stuck at the wires good to know you had fun with it.

The game has really cool visuals, and I find the inclusion of mini-games interesting. However, I think handling the colored wires when plugging them into the sockets was a bit tricky with the mouse—but it's a great game!

Developer

yes received a lot of complaint on the wires which was supposed to be the easier mini game. need to fix things, thanks for your review

Hi everyone, one of the developers here! As you may have noticed (if you’ve played the game), we’re severely short of artwork and assets for the game because some of the artists just disappeared during development. So I hope this won’t stop you from enjoying the game in some way :) Thank you, and have fun playing at this jam!
