You are entirely correct on combat mechanics it is not that it is lacking but not explained how to be used. due to tight development constraints, it unfortunately had to be left out.

To handle the sword mob's stun lock, players can utilize the K key to parry and deflect attacks.

Regarding the genre categorization, the initial concept differed from the final execution, but thematically the "simulation" tag was intended as a narrative framework representing a petty individual's obsession simulator with revenge before being forced to move past it.

However, I completely understand your perspective from a strict design standpoint.

Thank you for the critique, it provides insight for future balancing and improvements.

Thanks, good to hear you liked it.

Thanks, I was planning to do that but as usual in a game jam needed to meet the deadline.

The clock scene is the end of the game, and it was supposed to play the credits—making this another bug. I appreciate your patience in playing through to the end despite all these issues.

The signal synchronization mechanic was definitely the most frustrating part of development for me. Initially, I made the accuracy requirements perfectly match the goal wave, but it turned out to require too much precision. I loosened the tolerance to make it more forgiving so that I wouldn't have to keep struggling through it myself every time I needed to debug other parts of the game. Later on, I decided to leave it that way for the final production version as well.

Thank you for your review.

Thanks for your review, I didn't expect people to try and complete the game despite getting stuck at the wires good to know you had fun with it.

yes received a lot of complaint on the wires which was supposed to be the easier mini game. need to fix things, thanks for your review

I Really liked the work, It was a miss to have added a ending where both died side by side as I tried giving no provisions for both of them out of curiosity but it defaulted to ending 1.

I know it looks like a psychotic choice but trust me I am approaching this in a possibility exploration lens 😑.

THE FIX for now is always play the game in full screen with F11 as all position and functionality was done for that 16:9 aspect ratio and it is currently not dynamic to screen size so just clicking run game causes most issues here, so dont forget the F11 to make the game full screen before playing it.

And here I thought the slimes where the real skill check all along. Good luck finishing the game.

Never Imagined a chud could be peak

I really loved this game, but what is it at the end after the line says "life and death or 2 sides of the same coin". I go into a black area as shown below is it not complete yet? or is this the ending?
