I love how simple and enjoyable this game is! It definitely brings back the fun of this format.
The size mechanics, as punny as they sound, could have been expanded upon. I feel like it was a missed opportunity to incorporate a bit of floating elements due to her nature as a Balloon Giantess. Instead of taking damage that loses a life count, it should also deflate or shrink the size state that you had before. It's the small details that make simple mechanics like this feel in-depth with the context that is happening.
That said, the game was surely fun. There is a level of challenge between taking a risk and staying safe. Though, you could play the safe option by ducking down the whole time, so if there were any restriction, say, on how long you can duck for, it could bring skill elements to the table.
The art direction is pretty clear and consistent throughout. I really love the character design and art style. I would love to see this direction move forward to another game like this.
The theme, I would say, does fall into the pulp, but I'm not sure about the Sci-Fi aspects. Though she is a living and talking Balloon Giantess Babe, so I guess that does count as being Sci-Fi enough to be alien-like, haha.
The audio, I would say, got a bit irritating to hear her voice lines over and over. The cuts and overlaps between them didn't help with that. I believe the audio should have gotten a bit more time in the oven, in terms of how you design and set them up in the game. Not to mention, there was a lack of sound effects that could have supported it, so I sadly ended up playing it on mute. No disrespect to the voice actress; I think she did a wonderful job with Balloon Babe's personality!
Overall, it's a solid polish game that has a lot of potential to see more size ideas with the Balloon Babe character and world!
