Regarding the art, even though it sounds like a cliché, I think the trick is to do less: lower resolution, fewer colors, etc.
oh I havent even noticed that yethm and low res sounds obvious but still I've always had struggles with any pixel art in my projects because it always gets blurry or warps weird-The art in this game is so fun
