It's always good to see someone who also programs in pygame hahahaha. I recommend changing the dash to another key because if you need to dash to the right you have to press D and F, which is complicated. I think if you make it longer, it could be a great game! :D

Funny game, you can feel the love in it!
I would definitely refine the level design a bit more, and the movement—while responsive—is a little fast (though that’s just my preference; it might be fine for you).
Good job!
Sprite is neat, movement feels good! My advice is to look into some other platformers or some gamedesign break-downs to get an idea what else you can come up with. I fully agree with Halfbar comment, keep up the good work!
Simple platformer, but movement feels nice. Wall jumping without cooldown seems like interesting idea, continue work with it!
A simple platformer, the controls feel responsive and smooth, i only have a problem with trying to jump on one tile platforms since ur so fast that it can be kind of hard to do. Also being able to wall jump constantly is interesting, you can make levels around it while keeping those unintended level skips fun. Still a bit of audio would be nice. Also maybe try to implement the limitation? Still a fun game.
This is a very simple game, and it looks like a project made by someone who's just getting into game development or learning how to use the framework.
Here are a few things I'd like to highlight:
- On the second level, you can jump to the right and fall outside the map. This should be fixed to prevent players from leaving the playable area.
- There are no sounds at all. Even a few simple sound effects would significantly improve the overall feel of the game and make the experience more engaging.
- There's no pause menu, and when I fell out of the level, I had no way to restart it. Since there was no death collider, I just kept falling endlessly into the void. I had to reload the page to continue. Ideally, the game should provide a way to recover from situations like this without requiring players to leave or reload it.
- This is one of the game's stronger aspects. The movement feels nice, with wall jumps, double jumps, and a good overall movement speed. Everything feels pretty solid in this regard.
- It's simple, but I wouldn't call it bad. It's clear that some thought and effort went into designing the levels, and that attention is noticeable.
If we look at this as a project by someone learning the Pygame framework, I think the result is commendable, especially given the short development time. As a standalone game, it might not fully achieve all the goals originally envisioned for it. However, as a learning project aimed at improving the developer's skills and gaining experience with the framework, I'm confident it was successful.
Overall, it's a very simple game that would need quite a few improvements to feel more complete and polished. Still, as a project intended to help its creator learn and develop their skills, I think it was a success.
Good job! =D
The platforming feels snappy and clean! I wish there were more game to play and maybe some sound effects! Nice job!
it is from https://brackeysgames.itch.io/brackeys-platformer-bundle (player) and the tilemap from https://kenney-assets.itch.io/pixel-platformer-farm-expansion thanks
Enjoyable platforming mechanics and good animations but could've been improved with a bit more levels or harder levels.
Overall a great game for a 3 day jam
I made it, all 4 levels :-) A bit too short but still good stuff.
I didn't even need the dash. Walljumping is all you need 😎
Great mechanics and controls, even taking into account that they are a controller guy. I love the knight's little sprite ❤️
