This was a really cute chill game <3. Honestly you guys didnt even need a timer as it added unnecessary stress to a game with a chill vibe. The tree cutting mechanics were also fun, and I really enjoyed how there were smaller lines, but you get as much wood as the lines you hit, so a skilled player can get more wood but an unskilled player will still be able to receive some wood. I would have liked to see the limitation be used more in the game, but the overall game play and design are solid :)

In hindsight, you're probably right about the timer. I think I implemented it because I wanted there to be at least an idea of pressure as I couldn't imagine anyone taking more than 5 minutes, but perhaps no idea of pressure would have been better.

Thanks!

Dont worry I made the same mistake in my game. I made the enemies too aggressive for a casual walking game. If your interested in more about this, I highly recommend looking up Ludonarrative Dissonance. It explains some of the issues with my game and most likely yours as well. :)
