Gotta admit it's refreshing to look at high res antialiased stuff after so much pixel art.

The pathfinding collision bonk made me laugh.

Screen transitions were creative. Lot of polish in the UI.

Only issue I had was the pulsing color/intensity hover indicator is a little strong for my eyes, mostly on the fireplace's lighter value color and how much screen space it has, compared to like the key.

I started playing Sam & Max Hit the Road recently, and back then they used a different mouse cursor texture to indicate hovering over interactable, but you have to right click to switch "mouse interact modes" like look at, talk to, grab, etc. These old adventure games made some *interesting* UI/UX choices... But sometimes I wonder if it's all too homogeneous now.

Well, you made a very clean foundation for a point-n-click adventure game in two days, and most of your own assets to boot. Another solid K-Embee jam game.
