Good game! The narrative is well-developed, and the flashlight mechanic is really interesting. The music choice was also excellent. Overall, it's a game with a lot of personality.

Great idea with the flashlight mechanic!
Nice vibe.
Great job!

I was really trying to flex my flashlight game this year with the Halloween Game Jam. It's literally a 3 variable struct that made all the flashlight mechanics work. Easy, simple, and fun! Thanks for playing!

Very fun! loves the idea of the game, had a great time :)

I'm glad you enjoyed the game, The Team all did great work and we had a great time making it.

This was a great jam game!, i agree that the intro was a tiny bit long but the style and vibe was great, if you come back to this i think more UV messages would be cool to have, anyway great job.

Thanks for playing. The intro was all we had for awhile lol. I did have the code in place to speed it up but really did enjoy the story. The flashlight struct was the center mechanics of the game and it was a great little bit of code to play with. We had intended on a bit more in the game but this was a first time with unity web building for me. I had a lot of pink boxing issues and using custom shaders with the flashlight took a lot more time then I would have liked. Anyways I am glad you liked the game and cannot thank you enough for playing!

Nice job, I love the detective vibe and the narrative. Short and sweet!

Thanks for playing! Our group had a lot of fun and I think learned a lot together. I am glad you enjoyed it.

A great submission, love the flashlight mechanic. I did find the intro a bit long, speeding it up would help a lot

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the comment. I did have the code in place to speed up the intro but decided against using it because the narrator in our group did write that. I felt it personally a little rude to speed thru to fast. I will take the comment into mind in future build tho and thank you for playing!

I do like detective type games, I got stuck at fog part cause cause nothing happened when entered into fog so not sure if game ends there or not. but seems good start, hopefully you continue and polish it more. 👍

Developer(+1)

Yes, the team had a lot of fun working on this project. I am very grateful that you did play and seemed to enjoy it. This was a first on the web building with unity for me so unfortunately some bugs were bound to happen. I do apologize that you couldn't make it to the end, honestly there was not much more. There was supposed to be a trigger box that spawned a boss battle in the fog (I never encountered issues with it firing during my 900 debugging playthru lol). After the boss battle (which caused the 900 debugging playthru) the credits rolled. Thanks again for the complements may or may not continue with the project a little more to round out the story depending on the final results.

The game has a vibe. I liked the narrative and the music fits in. Feels like old detective movies. I could not get pass the gravestones. Spent couple minutes looking for clues and gave up after. Still, I like it. Well done.

Thats's exactly where I also got stuck! But the vibe of the game feels awesome!

Developer(+2)

I am sorry you guys got lost looking for clues. Our all team worked very hard on the project and I am glad you got to view the parts you did! Thank you for trying.  It really does mean a lot.
