This game turned out to be surprisingly fun!

At first, it seems like a very simple game, but once you light the two balls, the actual gameplay begins. It's a hilarious little game where you throw pretty much everything you can find into the bonfire, including entire buildings.

Here are a couple of things I think could be improved in the future:

  • Aiming felt a little awkward at times. I'd suggest giving the player some more space behind them when preparing to throw, so it's easier to aim and launch objects with the slingshot.
  • I understand that the game had to focus on mechanics that were realistic to implement within the available time. Still, I'd look into how the background music starts. Right now, it kicks in quite abruptly, so initially, I thought the game didn't have any sound at all.

Overall, I think it's a pretty fun game with a lot of potential! With a little more polish, it could become a really enjoyable, small-scale comedy game that's simply fun to play =D

Thank you for the feedback! I agree with the aiming critique, I think we should've locked the mouse in some way or like you said given more space for pullback - was tricky to balance, as making the pullback range any closer/shorter made it much more difficult to control. As for the music, that was a conscious choice - I wanted the player to feel thrust into the timed section with a sense of urgency, and I thought that best done with some silence during the tutorial between the title screen and the action. Perhaps some ambience/wind sounds or something in that space would be better. That being said, I saw some people play the game and the title music didn't kick in properly, so if that happened to you, I can see it being more jarring than intended/thinking the game didn't have sound.

I appreciate the kind words! Thanks for taking the time to review :)
