Very well done on this. The movement feels fluid and I love rhe art style.
thank you so much for playing 🙏
It is absolutely, incredibly, insanely fun! It’s so satisfying you just don’t want to stop! The controls and the impact feel are both top-notch—truly unbeatable! You come across as a total genius (or perhaps a top talent who left a major studio—if so, that was their loss)!
I have to say, the sliding mechanic and the continuous combat sequences are brilliant design choices! Without them, the game would just like a Pikachu by the roadside—common and forgettable—which really highlights your genius-level intuition for game design.
Others might struggle to articulate it, but I can: the slide adds fun while featuring distinct animations and a longer duration, allowing players to proactively step out of the high-speed action (fast pacing is the game's core, but you can't sustain it forever—just like in a movie). Meanwhile, the continuous combat sequences provide an extra "thrill" while also forcing a momentary pause for the player to catch their breath. This design makes the game more engaging while preventing it from becoming tedious or exhausting too quickly.
Bro, you were born to make games! I gave it a perfect score across the board—it’s a blast to play!
Hey, I came over to try this last night and really enjoyed it. Are you going to add mouse support for using the abilities? Like clicking to use the punch and kick. Would make the PC experience way better. I am going to have to spend some more time with it but it kind of reminds me of Stickdeath. Do the enemies drop special powerups? Was hoping to see a new button pop up for a special powerup ability. Very fun game!
Thanks so much for playing! Yes - I was actually experimenting with the mouse controls yesterday. I have actually been testing mobile play more often and I tend to go back to PC with no gamepad last since I am not normally a PC gamer. currently the enemies drop money, but the "Arena Stickers" are the current in-field power ups and with keyboard you cycle them with q+e and use them with r, but adding mouse attack support would make using them with the mouse more intuitive too. currently i think this system needs to be revamped and play-tested with better power ups that read more easily and have more apparent impacts to gameplay. I'm hoping to get some more good feedback like what you've commented here so I can keep learning what makes a better experience for people who play my games. Thank you for taking the time to help!
Hi brother, this game was actually fun!
Initially, I didn’t understand which keys were used to attack, so I was just roaming around. I’d suggest adding the controls to the pause menu or settings so players can easily check them.
Once I figured out the controls, the game became really fun! Grabbing everyone and hitting them with brooms and sticks was hilarious. The KO meter also added some extra excitement to the gameplay.
Even though the art style is minimal, I really liked the changing eye expressions. They added a nice touch to the characters.
Overall, I enjoyed playing it. Good job, brother!
Thank you so much for playing! that feedback is helpful and i’ll make that change to add controls to the pause menu.
i really do appreciate you taking the time to comment and play - this made my day. thank you brother!
