new solution to a common error:
If you get a message like this when launching the game:
C\Users\player\Downloads\Project C.A.R.L. 0.8.71 DEV\Windows\DSTORAGE.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media, or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support. Error status: 0xc0e90002
You need to go into your Windows Security > App & Browser Control > Smart App Control Settings (topmost option) and then make sure it is marked OFF.
