The gameplay reminded me a lot of Undertale, I really liked it! I also thought the artwork was very cool!

don't underestimate us deltarune/undertale fans we will go hogwild (i love the artstyle and the aesthetics of the game its so so tasty... overall def a 5/5)
i had a great time with it but...it feels like some strategic depth could be nice. At least something like combo if you choose 3 same actions would be cooler :3
An excellent game, perhaps my favourite in every respect; the art style is magical, the gameplay is simple, and I literally didn’t want to stop playing, but unfortunately I lost.
This was such a fun one! Really enjoyed playing the mini undertale battles!
The only UX challenge I faced was, I kept trying to click on the targetter (the little triangle) thinking that was the play button - especially since we click next round on the middle of the screen, and this happened multiple times! Having the end or fight button position somewhere else closer to your player might have been nicer!
I really enjoyed the overall experience and the nicely polished and fun battles
Great Game! the art is so good, I loved the combat, I was terrible at dodging the scarecrows attacks.
small issue I ran into was the music started overlapping so I had to turn it off, which is a shame, because I was enjoying it.
- love the gameplay and battling mechanics
- I don't think it's entirely clear to me what "changes" when I look away; is it the change between picking moves, and then "looking away" enters the battle sequence?
- I think instead of "end", if you had another word that describes what you're doing ("fight", "battle", etc.), that would make things a bit clearer. I sat there for a while before my first fight thinking "I don't want to end the game...but that's the only option?"
- Not necessary at all for a gamejam, but if you plan on working on this further, one nice thing could be to have a description of each move when you hover over it. I didn't pick size reduction for a while because I thought it was lowering enemy defense haha!
All in all, a really good game; I love the theme, the art, and the music!
Awesome work, I loved the UT/DR combat, and the artstyle was super cute! I think in the tutorial if possible you maybe could have little pellets attacking the player to get them to understand the dodging, and it was not clear at first how selecting your moves worked at first, but things made sense as it went along!
Awesome work done by everyone, loved this one!
The combat system is interesting and there's a couple of actions you can take instead of just spamming attacks, although for the most part I've just been spamming attacks instead of using stuff like damage reduction or size reduction. The art and music are pretty cool too. Would be nice to have some AoE attacks that affect all enemies. I think combining this with some sort of deckbuilder. roguelite, or dice game and the game will be even more interesting.
Very fun little game, love the theme and the gimmick of fighting in the top down is chefs kiss. It's not immediately clear what you have to do, a static tutorial screen is a lot to take in when you're playing a lot of games back to back. I played (and failed) a run before the movement mechanic clicked. Once I realised I could run around the square instantly loved it. Could be fixed with having the instructions there the first time the curtains close. Also maybe changing the word 'End' to fight or battle something like that so it's more clear what you are about to enter. But really this is such a minor grip the game is there and it's a joy to play when it clicks. I'll be coming back for more.
Very cool game! It feels very polished, has nice art and i like the idea that the enemy attacks can stack!
Holy.. this game is amazing. The gameplay, polish, art.. everything was on point. I loved the gameplay so much! Reminded so much of undertale. I really enjoyed everything. My only complain is that the game gets a little repetitive near the end.
Great job! 10/10 Submission.
