simple and satisfying, this would do great on a mobile phone.

Thank you, in a previous life people used to pay me to make those sorts of things.

Can't really say anything bad about this one. Feels good to play and nice art. It brings back the vibe from mid 2000s small games. If the idea is the only thing you got from AI, I can only applaud the execution.

Developer

It's basically the other way around!

I have the ideas and the AI kind of acts as like my own little dev studio. I give them a basic concept and then it's a mix of directed and AI-generated iteration. For instance I will say something like "Let's make the bricks explode into little particles that get sucked up into the player" and then it guesses from that what I would want to do next, which might be something like "Let's make the collision with the wall more satisfying to match the brick explosion polish" and I let it do that until it's self-prompt seems low value to me, then I give it some new directed prompt.

Thank you, much appreciated!

Graphics 5/5

Thank you, that was most of the effort spent for sure, especially the enemy characters animations. I hoped if it is fun to lose, then retrying will follow instead of quitting.

Really enjoyed this one. The gameplay, the characters, the map — everything feels finished, which is rare for a one-day jam. Hard to believe this came together in a day. Great work!

I gave GPT a very narrow starting prompt for this simple game concept and then just let it re-prompt itself for a few hours making only minor editorial corrections. So it kept being like "Hey want me to make this part feel better?" and I basically said "yes"

With the occasional "hey that thing you did isn't good, can you remove it/fix it?" and after 5 hours of doing that, we had this.

Some people would say this is cheating, but... you know. 2026. Thank you for playing!

Ha, I’m a total beginner — this is only my second game ever, so I can’t say much. But unless the goal is to crank out hundreds of slop games, I completely agree with you! I have a feeling we’ll keep bumping into each other at jams like this, so looking forward to it :)

Good luck, your first 2 games are very high quality!
