I think the theme of "signal" was incorporated really well into the tower defense gameplay. It was a challenging and satisfying game to play!

Using the towers to signal the guns was such a cool idea! This was really fun, great work :)

Nice to see another tower defense entry in the jam! Nice job.

Really original spin on the tower defence genre! Cool take on the theme :)

Very cool mechanic, balancing the guns with broadcast towers. I feel like level 2 ramps up difficulty quite quickly.

Nice tower defender, I liked the strategic decision between signal towers and cannons more interesting than other TD jam games I played before. We had the frog vs bats theme in our game too 😅

That’s awesome! Those dang bats!

The mechanic of using the towers to activate the the guns was great! I enjoyed figuring out whether it was better to add another dish or another gun. Nice work!

I really liked the use of the signal to charge the towers to fire. It was a fun challenge to figure out which satellite to build each round. Great job.

Nice use of the signal to act as fuel for tower defense - adds an interesting extra layer to the arrangement of the towers and the signals. Also, I appreciate all the shader work. I would have loved to see the bats corner a bit smoother when they transitioned between two path segments, but that's really just nit-picking. Nicely done.

Frog Nation. Classic feel, would enjoy a faster pace for my dopamine ruined brain. Nice work overall!

Nice tower defense game! The art was nice. Cool water shader as well. Happy to see the theme play a role in the mechanics, though the lore/reasoning felt forced. I would have liked the ability to restart a level, instead of having to reload the whole game from the beginning. Towers would sometimes shoot at already dead enemies, wasting ammo, which was frustrating for a game where the munitions are the limiting factor. More variety, upgrades, and/or combinations of signals would have been nice, too.

Well done!

  • I like the water effect on the main menu
  • I like the signal effect with the fading circles
  • Solid on the sound effects
  • Big blue signal tower fan
  • It'd be nice to be able to see a frog/tower's range post-placement
  • Decent amount of dead air while you're saving up for the next thing. A speed up option would've been nice.

A pretty by the books tower defense game, but fun. I liked going blue signal tower heavy and having my frogs machine gun fire the bats. I'd like to see a few more placeable items as well, it's always fun to have some super expensive but OP tower to save for in games like these. Played fully through it twice to try out different playstyles.

Good work!

Basic tower defense, but fun nonetheless. It sucked when slowed enemies got past though because I had to wait forever for them to reach the end
