Today is the day! I submitted my first ever game to a game jam.

I finished the core of Out of Range: you’re lost on a mountain with no phone signal, and the only way out is to climb until you can make the call. It’s not everything I planned. I never finished the random level generator, so every run is the same mountain, and I ran out of time to add sound effects. That still bugs me a little.

But last time I joined a jam, I never submitted anything. This time I did, and that feels like a win.

Good luck to everyone out there, especially the beginners! If you made it this far, you already beat the hardest part: finishing.

I plan to keep polishing the game until I’m happy with it. If you try it, please leave a comment on what I should improve. I’d really like to play your games too, so drop your links below!

Here's my game, Intercepted. A game about escaping the wolf police by finding cell towers and using them to open a map of the city. I'd appreciate feedback!

I'll check out your game too!

Hi! Cell towers unlocking a city map is a fun way to use the signal theme. I’ll play Intercepted and leave feedback.

Would really appreciate feedback and a rating! I've submitted in a few jams but this time I tried getting away from a limited experience and going endless.

I will add your game to my list to rate!

Thanks for sharing! Going endless instead of a short level is a big change, and I’m curious how it plays. I’ll try Signal Jam and rate it.
