I got stuck on this screen and couldn't figure out where to click or what to do next. I tried clicking around with the mouse, pressing different keys on the keyboard, pretty much everything! I did manage to get to a level with colored circles at one point, but then it sent me right back here.

So yeah, I wasn't really sure what I was supposed to do. But keep it up!

Developer

you gotta click on the parcels that move. Then you get sent to a puzzle

I liked the interpretation of the theme. Though I also found it pretty hard to read and the UI scaling issues were pretty distracting. I saw a few suspicious messages, but a lot of repeats, and ultimately wasn't sure whether I was even making progress. I eventually ran out of time on a math question and felt that one attempt was enough for me. Still, nice work incorporating the theme into the mechanics, and neat idea for incorporating mini-games.

I, like previous commenter, liked the background music very much :) Regarding the text and ui, I think the viewport size maybe got messed up somewhere along the way during export and setting it in itch or something? Sometimes parts (smaller or bigger) of ui elements were also cut partially of screen, some "folders" with those information like "do you like tea?" were like 100x too big, and sometimes text scaling was making it hard to know which is "+" and which is "-" (see screenshot). But the whole idea was good, a nice collection of science and math mini-games. I tried it for 3 times, each time got caught, although each time after longer time (not sure if there is some winning condition and I just suck, or the goal is just to go for as long as possible).

Regarding your code question, you could e.g. get rid of listx array and instead of "for i in listx" use "for i in range(1, 8)" ;)

Developer

Will definetly do after the jam! Thanks :0

Very unique! The BGM is amazing! I found the text a little hard to read, though.

I had no idea what I was doing and always failed at chemistry 😆 is there some end after a defined number of puzzles?

Developer

You keep going till you reach the end of the story. A hack I purposely designed for the chem puzzles is that the answer is the middle one. :D

You can really feel the developer behind the code, very unique and goofy. keep it up!

Such a cool take on the theme! I loved the setting, it's so unique :) Great job!

Nice idea, and pretty wild setting! Unfortunately the text resolution was a bit of an issue, and I'm not sure if the game was leading anywhere after a couple puzzles. I also agree that some more contrast between the background and game elements would help. Nice job though!

Very interesting! Like a fever dream! :D

Simple nice game !
The main default that I find is the difficulty to see the number and the time left. I think that is beacause there is not enought contrast between the for ground and the background !

Keep going !

Developer

Yeah I'm not the best at using the godot UI and itch.io reduced my texts resolution
