the music and rain is a vibe! difficult to get the hang of, but a fun lil game!
I think if the lillypads would stay up a bit longer it would be a lot less stressful. Using the same button to aim, accelearate and croak was tough. Only got 6 as a score and the first 10 tries I never got above 2 🥴
Cute, if the croak was connected to something other than the mouse click, it might be easier.
Yeah I considered the space bar instead for the croak but decided on the click to strip the controls down as much as possible. I was thinking about having this playable on mobile devices too so I settled on this control scheme. It works pretty well on mobile btw! I am thinking I should have just done a control settings menu though now, for preference
Completely understandable design decision!
This game is fun! It takes a little practice because the aim line is straight, but the jump is curved, so it is hard to know where you will land. The game would be easier if the line was curved too. My best score was 20, and I think that is pretty good! The art is also cute. Good job!
Thanks! Yeah I wanted the aim line to curve based on strength of the pull, too but ran out of time to implement it :,)
And nice score! 20 is very high. The highest any of my friends got to was 23 so great stuff
Simple but it plays well. The controls are tight, and it's pretty difficult (my best score is 6). It's like an advanced flappy bird, I like it.
