Hello, we are a small team of developers (A composer and a programmer). We are looking for—as indicated in the title—a 3D artist, who can help us with the 3D part (the models, the environment, etc.) of our game. So far we don't have much work done, only the theoretical. We're looking for you for can approximate a style like Friend-Slop —yes, something along those lines. We're still mulling it over, though; we want a style that’s similar yet distinct—.

As for gameplay, basically, the concept is pretty flexible (moldable to our ideas, whatever). We're envisioning a dungeon-crawler RPG, classic, but it all takes place within a single, massive dungeon (At the very least, let it feel that way, sure you know what I mean). The lore (so to speak) is that the players head into the dungeon seeking "fame, power, fortune", descending into the Labyrinth. Here where the current journey unfolds.

The Labyrinth is made up of colossal walls; the real hook is the exploration. As players explore, they'll come across entrances, cracks, doors, and so on, leading to all sorts of places, I mean... Whatever, it is like a "BackRooms"... Well, just a little bit like it, really. Oh, and we think the crazier/dump, the better.

Our goal is to create a sort of chaotic, fun-with-friends experience inside a dungeon packed with random locations and tons of traps, monsters, fantastic challenges. That kind of things. After all, making the players suffer together as a team makes it more fun for them. Plus, the RPG elements revolve around items, artifacts, and other cool junk; it adds a fantasy vibe, but with an absurd kind of magic—which I personally love; it's the best kind of magic.

That’s all.

Best regards: Our team (which, I believe, doesn’t have a name yet).

Is it paid?
And could you share your discord so we can talk there??

Hi! Would a small fixed-price prop commission fit your plans, or is this a volunteer/revshare team role?

Briefcraft Lab can start with one agreed simple static dungeon prop, such as a chest, pedestal or wall fixture. Existing low-poly examples: https://briefcraftlab.itch.io/outpost-props-study

The indicative starting price is US$35 for one simple prop, editable .blend and GLB, plus one consolidated revision. Characters, rigging, animation, full environments and engine integration need separate scope. I can review the brief now and target two business days after scope and payment terms are agreed.

If paid work is possible, which prop would you start with? Please share a visual reference, target engine, size/triangle and texture requirements, budget and deadline. We can keep the discussion here or at briefcraftlab26@proton.me.

Here’s my Discord: johnmaxwell09136. If you’re still looking, reach out ... I have a few ideas after seeing the project that I think would be worth talking about.

Hello, I am a 3d artist and i am interested in this project
Kindly contact my discord account: sammy201024

One colossal labyrinth where the whole game happens, with a chaotic friends-suffering-together vibe, is a fun hook for a 3D artist to build around. I founded ComposerScout, a free spot where game devs find 3D artists and other game people. Post the 3D artist role there with the pay you have in mind (there's a Not sure yet option too), and artists who fit get it in their inbox. Takes about a minute. It's free to be on, and I don't take a cut of anything you pay people. We'd love to feature your dungeon crawler there: https://composerscout.com/#post

hey I’m a 3d artist with character and technical art background and I’d love to hear more about the project and to see how we can work together! Do you have discord?

Hi! I saw your post about looking for a 3D Artist for your Dungeon RPG project, and I'd love to join your team!

I'm a 3D Environment and Prop Artist working primarily in Blender and Unreal Engine 5. I specialize in creating detailed game-ready environments, medieval buildings, interiors, weapons, and props.

I've worked on several projects, including medieval environments, taverns, and other game assets. I can help create high-quality 3D models that fit your game's style.

I'd be happy to share my portfolio and discuss how I could contribute to your project.
