Heads up first: a script played this, not my hands - it holds the mouse and lets go when the stir warning shows. Two runs. Run 1: $1,543, 16 items, 0 catches. Run 2, with a deliberate 250 ms delay added after the warning to fake human reflexes: $1,819, 28 items, still 0 catches, all 3 lives. 44 pushes total, never once caught.

The warning windows I logged, shortest to longest: snap 0.21-0.29s, quick 0.36-0.50s, quiet 0.52-0.67s, normal 0.57-0.84s, drowsy 0.96-1.17s. Nice spread - the sleeper types really do feel different.

The one thing I'd look at: once you decide to always release on the tell, nothing punishes you, even a quarter second late. So the tension is self-imposed greed rather than risk, and the score ends up measuring how long you sit there. The SNEAKY bonus is already the right lever - if a last-second release paid a lot more, or a fake stir cost you something, the safe play would stop being the best play.

Everything else is lovely. The junk pile growing on the floor, the cucumber, the Nine Laps poster on the wall - the art sells the whole bit.

ooo interesting take! Thanks. Appreciate your feedback!
