Great game and voice acting! I also liked the spaceship setup; nicely made! My only note for improvement is that the browser version presents some lag, so I had to wait until it was playable.

Developer

Yeah I wasnt even sure it could do a browser version at all, so I knew it would have some hiccups but - I just wanted to atleast try for anyone wanting to give it a shot! Thanks!

Holding the flashlight like a gun is so funny to me. I loved that. Great voice work and overall atmosphere. This was really cool.

Great VO and FX, Very immersive! I think I softlocked the game by picking up a pipe I wasn't supposed to yet, but with all the atmosphere and narrative, I didn't really care! haha. Great job.

Really impressed about how much you got done. Unfortunately the web build had some really bad lag spikes for me, so didn't finish, but liked the environment and the feeling of the game. And the voice acting was great.

Super tense experience, great voice acting. There were a couple of control issues, as some others have mentioned. However the amount of work in this is amazing you got it done in a week. Great job!!

Dude! I loved that you put so much effort into dialogues but Lantern talks a lot! A lot of times his dialogue did not complete as other things happened in the environment. Wearing headphones helped make the atmosphere more tense.  Nice one...

Developer

Yeah It was my first time doing it, and I knew I needed like 3-4 more days to really lock in the gates for dialogue and find what lines were not needed through more testing but - thats what a game jam is for! (plus I just had so much fiun recording haha) We live we learn! Thanks!

The vibes are off the charts and the voice acting is really good. nice work!

I had a few issues that made it hard to play. the light going all over the place while walking is really distracting, especially while strafing, it just points up at the roof.

The camera kept getting behind decorations which would instantly flash black and if you backed up to a wall the camera would just go through the wall.

It’s pretty hard to see the things that are interactable. I feel like I found the flashlight and wrench by complete accident and for the flashlight I ended up just panning the mouse around trying to find it after i saw the prompt on accident heh.

Around the flashlight there are some pretty weird invisible walls. you can walk down the left but not the right for example. not a huge issue but would be nice to clean up collisions like that.

The web build takes a LOOONG time to become playable and has a lot of initial hitches but it eventually got to a point with minimal hitching.

Great job on the entry!

Thanks! Yeah, Definitely needed like a few more days to really perfect and find those details, the camera thing was like - really bugging me too but we have all play games where the camera wasnt our friend haha. Definitely a very ambitious attempt this time haha I havent actually experienced what your saying with the flashlight so I will have to see if I can duplicate that. Thanks for checking it out!

Really impressive spaceship environment—the level of detail and craft in the ship's interior looks great, and the premise of fixing a malfunctioning vessel has a lot of potential. My main friction point was pacing and progression: after exploring for a bit, I lost steam because the objectives and next steps weren't clear enough. With some better in-game direction or signposting, this would be top-tier!
