PackPix — offline sprite sheet maker (single HTML file)

Hey everyone! I made PackPix, a small offline tool that turns a batch of PNG frames into a packed sprite sheet — right in your browser.

• Drop in PNG frames (or load demo frames) — processed locally, nothing is uploaded
• 3 free layouts / 6 full layouts including MaxRects dense packing
• Padding 0–16 px, live atlas preview with numbered cells, fill ratio stats
• Trim transparent margins & 90° rotation, power-of-two sizing (full edition)
• One-click PNG export; JSON atlas + batch ZIP export (full edition)
• Deterministic packing — the same frames always produce the same sheet
• One HTML file — double-click, no install, nothing ever leaves your computer, works offline forever
• English & Japanese UI

Free edition (3 layouts, PNG export): https://capsuloom.itch.io/packpix
Full edition ($5 — MaxRects, JSON atlas, batch ZIP): https://capsuloom.itch.io/packpix-full

It's made by me, so feedback is very welcome — happy to hear which layouts or export formats you'd want next.

Does the JSON export preserve each frame's original size and trim offset? That would help keep an animation aligned after trimming.
