Ah, I misunderstood the travel system. I was picturing players choosing the same spot repeatedly, so my cooldown suggestion doesn't fit what you described.
Is the reward rolled on repeat visits too? If so, a cooldown could keep players from farming one location instead of exploring.
Does the JSON export preserve each frame's original size and trim offset? That would help keep an animation aligned after trimming.

I'd try two handovers with and without saving and reloading, then compare the extra staff count. A request for three extra staff shouldn't turn into six or twelve. That could help narrow down whether the duplication comes from handover itself or from restoring the saved state.

One charge, three stabs

Hi, I'm the developer behind UZUIN Studio. I'm making Arcon, a PvP-focused MMORPG, on my own, using existing art assets and Codex.

My background is systems design, so getting into animation has been a bit of a mess.

The asset pack comes with animations, but of course it doesn't have every movement I want. That sent me into Unity's animation tools, asking the AI, 'Okay, how do I even do this?'

Then came the timing problems, the key placement problems... For one warrior charge, I ended up with the character thrusting three times during a single dash. You could tell something was off just by looking at it.

AI didn't sort that out in one go either. I still had to work through the tools and figure out what was happening.

Here are two still frames from an October 16 local Unity test, showing the preparation pose and the sword extended forward. They show the poses I was checking, not the movement or the earlier three-stab bug.

Working through this made me miss having a team, haha. I'm picking up bits of knowledge from all over the place now.

Anyway, that's this first entry. Back to work. AI also helped me translate and tidy up this English post.
