Wow this is such a cool concept! I played this on mouse and keyboard and had no problem maneuvering the
air balloonfalloon. The sound of the leaves changing into fall colours was so satisfying, and I found the overall feel to be very relaxing and visually breathtaking. Amazing art as well! Great job overallThe environment is really pretty, it's really satisfying turning the trees to autumn, l love the animations of the balloon too. Its cool to play a game with controller support, I seen some people mention it feeling clunky on kb/mouse, but on controller it feels great imo.
Also good name
Cool game. It didn't run the best on my computor, but it was pretty fun.
Oddly it reminded me of outerwilds how the player controls the air bag balloon thingy, which is such a lookback. The aesthetic and visuals of the game is very on point though, the audio worked very very well and the models look extremely polished. Very very mesmerizing. It's breathtaking and beautiful. Good job!!!
The aesthetic you made here is really something—it's genuinely breathtaking considering the amount of time we had for this jam. I loved the environment and audio design, but, unfortunately, I really struggled with your player controller. I'd be curious to play this again after a few iterations to see where you'd land with that for similar reasons as outlined by others here. In it's current state, the controls feel clunky/unresponsive with a keyboard and mouse. I'm also curious to know if you considered or experimented with adding mouse/free look? Really cool concept. Thanks for making and sharing it!
Thank you so much for playing and for your feedback! I will definitely update the controller after the jam.
Woah, amazing model! I was immediately impressed with the art here. Only note is that the controls felt a bit clunky on keyboard+mouse. It was odd that right-click had an action, but moving the mouse itself didn't. It made me think that the mouse was going to be used for turning like in most first-person games.
What an amazing concept! The falloon was just stunning and you got the floaty feeling down so well - I was playing on my controller which worked perfectly! The idea of "painting fall" is just so beautifully done - the calmness and overall vibe of the game makes me feel like i could play hours of more levels/scenes of this (: great job!
What a mesmerizing game! Honestly, one of the most relaxing games I've played. Flying the hot air balloon, sorry Falloon, around was such a delight. I thought the controls felt great too. It had a floaty, slightly sluggish feel you'd expect from a balloon, but still handled really well.
Painting the islands was pretty addicting. I loved watching them change to their autumn colors. The mini-camera view when picking up the glowing orbs was really helpful for lining up the drops, and the air currents were super helpful for getting around the map faster.
The 3D models looked amazing too, and the wind sounds really made you feel like you were up there floating around. I could've honestly spent a lot more time just gliding around taking it all in. And the name Falloon really couldn't be more fitting lol. Really enjoyed this.
Thank you for playing!

Woah! The aesthetics of the game somehow reminds me of Journey by Thatgamecompany (No, seriously. That's the name of their game company..) It's beautiful.
Imma be honest, though. I wasn't sure what I was doing. I know I am supposed to bring the light orbs to some campfire, but every time I fly up, it drops. So I tried timing it and gliding instead, but I crash (แแฃแ)ี
I think it's a skill issue for me, so I won't hold it against you. Well done!
Thank you for the comparison with Journey! As for the skill issue, it is on my part. I didn't have time to integrate a proper tutorial so the two small hints that I managed to get in seem to do more harm than good at explaining the game.
I really liked that air current mechanics, and I think the main concept in this one is to glide to bring the glowy orbs to the campfires. And while that is a really nice puzzly interesting concept, it was very difficult for me to get past the unintuitive tank controls for a 3D flying game. I played with a keyboard and mouse, and was expecting to steer with the mouse.
Thanks for the feedback! To be honest I haven't figured out the turning.
Very nice and cozy game. I just wish the controls were explained somewhere in the game itself, as I had to restart just to read the description.
Thank you for playing, and for the feedback! I completely agree about explaining the controls and actually the whole game better.
Really relaxing and cozy game! The graphics were stunning, and the audio added to the chilled atmosphere. I especially loved the balloon animations. Well done!
Thanks for playing!
Really cozy gameplay! And so much detail on the movement. Felt like a retro game, especially with the audio and graphics. Awesome job!
Thank you for playing!
This game has a very nice vibe and insane attention to detail when it comes to the airship with all the moving parts! For how floaty the forward and backwards and up and down were the left and right steering felt very abrupt and not floaty at all expecially for a hot air balloon. The gameplay also felt nice and the graphics were great, great game!
Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the turning feels out of place.
