I enjoyed making the food here. It felt simpler compared to other cafe sims in terms of food making process and the recipes aren't outrageously long. The fact that I could easily memorise the recipes here meant the recipes aren't that hard to remember which is a good thing imo.

The final boss was pretty fun to deal with, the lights constantly switch off so everything moves around. Felt like that could also be a random game event that happens once a while.

The art style is very clean also. I did try to see what happen if you mixed flour, chocolate, cinnamon, pumpkin, and apples and the result did not disappoint. I wished multiple customers can come in at the same time for extra challenge.

haha you found the secret dish, nice going :D the boss battle with the lights sure kicked my ass when I was playtesting it. happy that you liked the art style I decided to go with, and thank you for playing ^^

"Um, hey. I'm here for food." Lol, I know how you feel, Isaiah.

The artwork in this game is gorgeous! The music and SFX fit really well too. Figuring out the recipes for the first time is surprisingly addictive, and I kept looking forward to seeing what each new baked good would look like. All the little character interactions made the shop feel really cozy too. Really enjoyed this one, great job!

Hey! You know I still think of your game from the spring jam from time to time, Flower Knight. The title was attention-grabbing, and the art was incredible. Good job on making another banger for this again! Hope to see you again in the future as well!

Soothing satisfying loop and all the artwork is so clean and cohesive! The different food sprites look especially gorgeous and I love the little Halloween decorations. I played for about 5 days, so I don't know if there's more of a plot but I enjoyed the character interactions I got to see. Excellent work on such a polished entry!

Developer(+1)

thank you so much for commenting on the food sprites!! I especially enjoyed drawing them. yes, the story campaign is 5 days long but in Endless Mode you can get more unique dialogue with returning customers :>

Oh this is so cute and a very fun gameplay loop.

Fun play on the limitation,  and oozing Cozy vibes. I just think the shop prices were a bit too realistic for me.

This game is so well done!! The artwork is absolutely gorgeous and I love all the little characters! We also made a coffee shop game and I really like how you had all the ingredients moving around and different recipes while keeping the "processing" part pretty intuitive and simple (: Really great job - this game was so well polished!

Developer(+1)

thank you!! I loved the art of your game too, the falling leaves are such a nice touch. I like that your processing part has minigames, makes it fun :D

A really, really beautiful game. Well done!!

The game is  so beautiful. I love the character portraits and the audio. It is also well-programmed. I will say that as someone that dislikes cooking games, I didn't play it for very long, but I can appreciate how well it is made.

The final boss (?) was honestly really cool! I liked the whole blink and things will move around scheme. The only issue in my end that the days felt a bit too long. I had to spend quite some time to get to the boss in a more redundant way but I very much enjoyed and was in awe with how unique and interesting all the customers looked! Good job ob that!!!

The artist and the writer def baked hard. Props to them!!!

Developer(+1)

thank you for the thorough feedback!! the boss’s concept was brewed up by our game designer and lead, which I think is pretty fun too. I’m glad you liked the customer designs, I tried to make them unique :D

This is an absolute unit. Near perfect execution on so many levels for this style of game. The way y'all used the limitation is clever here. The writing is solid, and the art/audio give  great cozy vibes. I was only left wanting there to be more foreshadowing in the story/gameplay before the finale to give a little bit more of a taste for what was about to come. Amazing work, y'all!

Developer

artist here, thank you so much! major props to our game designer who was also the writer, and our talented composer. I remember seeing you post in a previous comfy jam, so it’s cool seeing you again! :D I was like, “oh, it’s tbleazy!”

What a wonderful game!! It’s extremely polished, and the ending was so fun! The game was so relaxed for most of its runtime that the final customer caught me off guard (in the best way possible). Hilarious dialogue and the lights turning on and off made for a great challenge!

Developer

thank you so much!! it means a lot coming from one of the devs behind Do Your Best, Anya!, especially with how fun and challenging your game was. the music from it was possibly the best I’ve heard this whole jam, too ^^
