Those are great concept arts! I have a programming background too. But let's try to animate the main character anyway and see how it goes! What kind of 2D game are you working on? How large and detailed are the characters on the screen? Are there any reference games?

That’s great that you also know how to program! Do you know how to use Godot? As for the scale of the game, it’s quite large and will feature 5 levels, which will also be very extensive. For now, however, I only intend to develop the first one. If I could send our GDD (Game Design Document) here, I would. Just a heads-up: we won’t be able to pay you at this moment, but if the game generates revenue, you will be entitled to a share of the profits.
Using Godot is easy, as the GDScript language is quite similar to Python; if you have programming experience, adapting to this language will be much simpler, since you already have a grasp of the underlying programming logic.
If you prefer to use C#, that’s fine too—though I’m not certain whether it’s possible to use C# in a Godot project that has already been written in GDScript.
