The sfx are very very loud and with no way to lower them during gameplay. Also there's no incentive to actually trying to draw as you can just fill the page with color and progress. Great little experience regardless.
Thanks for playing! Audio settings are available in the pause menu, which you can access by hitting Tab (I know but it was tab while we developed and we failed to change it before submitting the build). There is a note on the desk with the controls. If you were not able to pause the game with tab please let us know as that is a bug. As for the colouring, you are right, but we were relying more on players desire to experience the game, and the freedom to draw what they want, and not force them into drawing specific images. Thanks for the feedback!
I really enjoyed this one. I did get jumpscared by the loud thunder while trying to brace for a jumpscare by mommy. The sound design was nice, the rain and thunder felt really visceral. I was confused whether or not mommy would come back eventually but she did and I showed her the greatest drawing ever.
I like these games I've played where you're tasked with a menial job (drawing) and then the world around you degraded into horror.
This was a good one. Some of the best voice acting yet too

This is easily the most on edge I've been playing a game from this jam, the atmosphere is great and it was genuinely upsetting seeing the mom's emotional decent, I do wish the drawings did get saved some where outside of the game but that's just the artist in me nitpicking at that point.

nice concept. First I thought it's about to not "look up" when she's watching me, as in she wants me to draw but I have to watch when she's not looking.

Love it! Really great execution of a minimalistic premise, letting the player loose in essentially a drawing sandbox and messing with them as they play around is a very clever concept. Made me feel quite unnerved at times!
