How did you use AI?
Absolutely everything is done by claude. I have explicitely set myself a limit that i could not touch the project anymore once claude started building. To do this, I did not even create the game page until one hour before the deadline. My instructions to claude were basically: "create a submission for jamference 2 please, here is the itch.io page". Now, to get a decent result this time, I upgraded my gamedevelopment skill with a couple of books on game design. Notably I believe the addition of "A Theory of Fun for Game Design" was helpful in it figuring out a fun game loop.

Very pleasant aesthetic but I just wanted to cut snowflakes and the game wants me to do specific things.
This made me sad, but it is also a game. I began to think deeply about sandboxes vs rules and I stopped, gave you a high rating, and went on about my day.
oh you actually can do that! If you go to the main menu, you'll find "free cutting" in there. Have fun!
Fantastic :D
I liked the folding and cutting mechanic! Figuring out how the cuts would look once the paper unfolded made for a fun puzzle. A lovely way to turn paper crafting into a game. Nice work!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it :)
Fun and unique game, very well done. Here is a recording of my playthrough:
thanks for playing & the playthrough video! Always super interesting to see
I personally don't find it that fun, but that purely comes down to taste I can absolutely still appreciate there's nothing wrong with it as a game, truly impressive, don't think i'm going to find another one this clean tbh. Faultless execution and a really nice idea, i can see this being popular, you should genuinely launch it more fully as a product, it's great.
hey thanks so much for playing & for your words! Sounds like the game is a bit polarizing then, in terms of fun. Some players find it boring, some find it extremely fun. That's very interesting to me!
And yeah, maybe I will release it further down the road, thanks! :)

Fantastic game and idea, really great work! The paper mechanics are fun and overall the game feels very polished.
thanks for playing, and for your kind words! Glad you like it :)
On browser- Extremely fun! I love this idea. Challenging but not unforgiving because of the hint system. Was able to finish all of them.
On phone- Feels great too! Good game!!
Thanks for playing! I was a bit afraid the mobile version would be harder to use because of your finger getting in the way.. π
As an autistic person, i love this, the simplicity, the cutting is super satisying and the music is a chefs kiss! I did manage to get 100 percent on the first snowflake but still only got 2 stars. Once thats fixed ill be cominh back to get max stars! I finished with 19. Well done!
nice! Great job on finishing that snoflake with 100%! I'll definitely look into why it didn't give you the full 3 stars there,.. it should have. Guess that'll teach me to not be hands-on with this one, hehe.
I sent ya a screenshot on discord, it turned out really good and pretty polished regardless!
know it is cutting but dimensions was hard to judge, keep getting 1 starπ΅βπ«π΅βπ«πππ
aww, sorry about that! The difficulty could probably use another pass π
