The art style is great! I'm a little confused as to why the player is so blurry

Nice! I got the 'you were home the whole time' ending. I like how you put in several endings. As someone else mentioned, I would have loved some story or direction to know what to look for or why the things are happening, but it was overall a good time for me. Good stuff.

Fun little game! Good job :) Two little ideas for improvements:

  • When I hold [S] to walk down and only for a frame hit [A] or [D] I walk either left or right and wont walk down again until I let go of [S] and press it again. There are some basic issues with your movement input, that you should easily be able to fix :)
  • Maybe turn off the filtering for the main character, I think the mc sprite looking crisp works better for the pixel art style

I like the jumpscare image and noise. I don't really get why the main character is blurry, and the pixel scale seems inconsistent. Gameplay felt super barebones.

Nice Pixel Art. Was the character supposed to be blurry? would love an intro to the story or something. I was a bit confused on what I was doing at first but I just kept going down the hallway. But overall, well done on your first version of this game.

Nice idea, but the time constraint is probably what got you here. The controls are kinda cluncky, you cant press w+a to go diagonally, and no tutorials or anything that explains what i am supposed to be doing. Hope i dont sound like a game journalist rn lol. Also the pixel art for the character is blurry, thats i think a setting in the engine that you can change. Other than that, yeah, quite good, especially for the first version

it is built around modular classic pokemon controls it do not have any horizontal controls, it was a part of game design to make it a little more you know classic
