Pretty solid riff, nice melody and harmony, pretty good for the amount of time you put in it. I believe that with some more time it could be even better. Awesome.

i reeeally reaally loved this one, i think its one of the top 5 songs in this jam. i was grooving the whole way haha! + points for actually writing and playing this on your guitar too, it has some really hard things in it that i cant do at all on my guitar :D something that really bugged me was that i think i could hear some background stuff in the guitar recordings? sounded like little thumps here and there... overall tohugh this was awesome

u right about the thumps heh i think ik where u are talking about as well / i think i can explain that as me bein veryy unpracticed with lead guitar playingg so the muting to make the notes more staccato wasnt very well done 😅tho maybe ill practice a bit more at it maybee

It gives me early 2000s anime vibes. Gintama comes to mind but probably cuz I love it lol.
The verse being a different tonality than the chorus helps the chorus pop more. Compositionally solid.
Now as I said in the discord chat there's some things out of tune with the lead. 🐄
0:44 is where I feel it the most.
To be clear I'm not talking about the places where it's clearly intentional like after the 2:00 mark.
It's probably the cheap guitars fault and not your playing necessarily. (shit I need to check my own intonation I just switched string gauges xdd) or too thin strings for low tuning also bend easy. 🤔
The lead tone is also quite harsh and upfront but that does give it a punky vibe.
I loved the harmony layers in the chorus, really fun! 😁

lead tone yeaa i wanted it diffrent from the rhythm but didnt know how to do that cuz i hardly lead ever heh so just kinda ran it thru another amp sim and against my better judgement had the volume a bit louder than id like 🙈 listenin to it on my phone was like woh wheres the other instruments lol
the lead guitar was the right choice it has a lot of energy in it, which is needed for this type of song. Vocals are much harder to get right especially in a time crunch. And the playing isn't bad by any means!
The lack of bass adds to the harshness of the lead. Like if there was more lows the same lead level and tone would seem less harsh.
If you want lead tone tips besides the level being a bit too high I got u.
Cut that harsh 4k region a bit with an EQ and add some reverb. That will smooth it out. Ofc you don't want to lose the energy of it by cutting too much highs. Gotta focus that harshness.
As for tuning, it's weird cuz you get used to your own guitars tuning kinda so it doesn't seem that off. I've had that happen a bunch and only noticed when someone pointed it out or like years later listening to it.
OH I also forgot to say idk how tf you made this in 3 hours I take so much longer to do anything xdd

as for 3 hrs dont actt likee this composition isnt just simple 4 chord progression and a repetitive azz lead guitarrr. while u over there makin dance of eternity 2 🙈 makes sense why ur stuff would take longer cuz u got a bigger brain lol more sonic capabilities and rhythmic configurations and conflagrations et al
