holly crap that map is huge! Super fun meteoroid-vania, I couldn't get all the way to the end but had a great time gathering the first ingridient. Very nice job!

Developer

Thank you! We took a bit of a risk going for a bigger map when people only have so much time for each entry, but I think the learning we got from it and the experience was worth it even if people don't get to see all of it.

This gives me a lot of Metroid vibe. The map is a bit big but the difference mechanic in each one is pretty fun. I like the plank one, but also my plank got bug and stuck in the wall. It wouldn't let me pick up lol. I enjoy it a lot!

Developer

Thank you! It was fun implementing the different types of puzzles and building the progression around the map instead of new tools. There's more than a few bugs that keep popping up unfortunately, and looking at them now all the solutions and work arounds seem apparent.

really cool game, I got frustrated by how big the map was and having to backtrack. The puzzle aspects were incredibly charming!

Thank you! We went pretty ambitious with the map, we had a lot of time and wanted to go bigger than we normally do, but some little tweaks to the pathing and more shortcuts around wouldn't hurt. That's typically how I like games to be anyways!

A very interesting idea. Thanks for including a map—after finding two ingredients, I got lost and didn't know where to go next! I finished the game in 15 minutes; the part that stumped me the most was why the bird wouldn't eat the worm—turns out I was supposed to leave the worm in the previous room, xd Still, it really made me think; it’s a great concept. Thanks for the game, haha

Developer

Thank you! We definitely designed it around the mystery and discovery, which makes it a little tricky at times. We're both big souls fans as well, so the really esoteric solutions to puzzles come from there a bit but it can certainly be tough in a short game jam. Thank you for giving it a shot!

Nice maze although it was maybe too large for 5 objectives. Very ambitious idea :D

I fell from the viewport while retrieving the mushroom and fell out of bounds, could not come back to the map after that :(

Yeah, unfortunately we've heard of a few bugs since submission. Sorry to hear your run got locked like that! And yeah, I think we could probably spend many hours tweaking the map.

Cute plateformer, I did not retrieved all the ingredients for the potion because I was completely lost in this maze ahah but I enjoyed trying.

Nice art, sounds effects though.

Well done to the team

Thank you! Even knowing the layout and having references, I still find myself getting lost on my way to different places.

Cute! I don’t know why, but I really like the jump sound effect lol. I also like the part where you have to put the plank down! The pick-up-and-place mechanic kinda forces you to walk off the edge, which is smart.

This game also made me realize how bad I am with direction and memory ;_; But it also makes me want to keep exploring! Great work!

Thank you! It was fun finding different solutions to those puzzles as I tested them, I like that there are multiple ways to approach it. And yes, it can certainly be a bit of a maze at time, ideally with more time I'd want to add backgrounds and set dressing that better convey where you are at any given moment.
