Boss on Duty. The general idea I understand is that I need to beat the attackers, but still not beat them. To find the sweet spot so they enjoy attacking me. The abilities are straightforward. I beat them all on the first run.
But then the game started giving me options for upgrade paths, and honestly, I don't like or play similar games like this. It reminds me of Vampire Survivors, Goobies, Slay the Spire... all are games that I don't like or understand. So sorry I'm not the best tester for your second game!

I fixed mine based on your feedback. If you have the time I'd appreciate a second run to see if you enjoy it or understand what you need to do

No need to apologize, that's genuinely useful. Someone outside the genre is exactly the blind spot I can't test myself. Quick question if you remember: when you beat them all, did it feel like a win, or did the game make it clear that wiping them out was the wrong move?

Just reopened Cell Cleanup and the difference is obvious. The loading bar with a percentage meant I didn't think it froze this time, and "Eat the bacterium" with the little pointer told me what to do the second I landed. That was exactly what I was missing. Only got as far as the first bacterium this time, but the start is way clearer now.

Why only the first one? Did you get bored, wasn't the game your type, or was it something else?

It didn't feel like a win because the game told me to balance myself. I wanted to let them all escape with barely any HP. But that's almost impossible because once launched, I can't stop or control anything. I don't like turn-based games, and this is one reason.

But the game reassured me by saying they would come back tomorrow. It felt strange because I killed them all, so they should be angry. But who knows! It seems they love to die. So I went to level 2, then got bored tbh

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to know. The goal came across, but once the fight starts you can't steer it, and "they'll come back tomorrow" feels odd right after you've flattened everyone. Both are going on my list. On Cell Cleanup: that was just a quick look at the new opening. I'll give it a proper run and tell you where I stop.
