First and foremost I absolute love the visuals of this game. The sprite work and color choices are both fantastic. It has a lot of polish for a jam entry as well, between the screen shake, particles, flashing sprites, etc. I did run into some issues with the bat pogoing which was frustrating, but overall the movement was nice and weighty. he only thing I really feel like I'm missing is the sfx and music, and with such a clear and well executed retro aesthetic, I can easily picture where it might go. Would love to hear what kind of soundtrack you'd put over this!
