I made a video of your game. It's at the beginning of this video.
I liked it. Video feedback.
mind the lag my laptop is not what it used to beI like the bleak atmosphere in this game and how it fits with the poem.
I love the design of Ellie and the art.
Very cool liked the presentation and the poem. Great OST and sprites.
I did notice a bug with the bird (seemingly only visible IRL my recording missed it (280Hz monitor is likely why) but I got it with my phone which is the only place I could capture it) that the birds jitter backwards at high frame rates, this is likely an issue from mixing using process and physics process for animation / state machine.
I enjoyed the puzzles more than the platforming, which is personal preference but I think that the platforming could use some juicing up to improve it as that's the only thing dragging the game down.

Thank you for recording your play through, it's always interesting to watch how people approach the game. Were the crow's constantly jittering? They are supposed to face the direction they are traveling which they don't seem to be doing on the recording
I'm sure this will be in top games because of artstyle and gameplay. Just wanna mention that I really liked the incremental difficultly.
A very nice game. The platforming parts were a bit challenging because of the unique movement and jumping mechanics, which made it hard to judge the right distance at first. I was really surprised by the voice acting in this game. The music is also very pleasant, but for my taste, it ends too quickly.
Overall, very nice and cute game<3
Absolutely beautiful game, therapeutic even. Very artsy. Platforming was legitimately challenging sometimes! I enjoyed it! I liked the prickly pear cactus song
The drawings were gorgeous, but the music got annoying really fast. I couldn't focus on what was being said most of the time because I was trying to not die by jumping too early or too late. Also, I didn't understand what the message was if there was one.
Absolutely GORGEOUS art, and vibes were immaculate, and the ending was beautifully done.
The aesthetic of this is really beautiful, I love the textures! I had a slightly tough time with the jump mechanic, but I really liked the puzzles. Very cool game! Had to rate a fellow scarecrow game :)
I think being a platformer clashed with the experience. I didn't pay attention to the poem because I was focused on getting the jumps right. I think it would have been better to chose one style over trying to blend both. Also, for those of us who don't play a lot of platformers/metroidvanias, holding down the jump button to go higher is not something we figure out by default.
Thank you for the feedback, I didn't think about the need to teach the variable jump height with the level design. I guess it is important to teach especially when Ellie's jump is much more floaty than most platformer jumps
Really nice work on the atmospheric art style, I liked how it played around with the camera zoom
This is so… idk… deppresive i think
Liked the art style and the song, but is true that it ended looping to much. I felt the game a bit slow. Also the first jump is too hard for my opinion, it literraly seemed impossible at first. But for the rest, there are interesting concepts.
