Wow this game also has phone controls, Good job

I played it on my phone and it was smooth although aspect ratios were messed up like always, don't know if it's fixable or not in godot .

I don't know how you guys created that Firefly thing that follows near player, what's the trick, did you made it's position as player.globalposition + a random vector2.

So there isn't a flashlight in this game

Game: there is a flashlight, use your gun.

There were a lot of controls and thanks for providing the h button to see all the controls. As for the darkness, it felt annoying when I couldn't navigate properly but it was also crucial for horror aspect although I would suggest adding a flashlight because it's very hard to navigate properly without it.

Btw nice game, I really like top down shooting games ^-^

I think you should have explained the backstory of your game but regardless of it the game was pretty fun. Really liked it's graphics.

Let me mention some things that you would have to improve

1. Current flying object disappears when you collect any item

2. cat sprite does not have idle or standing sprite, it's  idle sprite is a sprite where all it's legs are mid air which look weird if you notice it(maybe it's an error where you selected wrong frame for the idle animation).

Thanks for playing.
I think the crt vhs filter is a bit heavy for web version, I will improve on it in later games.

Start point where we just encountered the first enemy, the path was blocked by him and I couldn't find any other paths.

Sorry I wasn't able to complete your game - it's really dark and I got confused about what to do but I will try again. I will try to complete it before the jam ends . Overall I really liked the horror aspect of it, the sudden appearance of the first enemy was honestly scary, maybe bc it's so dark or bc I hate infection related things.

Sorry about mouse sensitivity, I thought low sensi would be ideal for horror games but I don't think it's comfortable for everyone like you said . I will provide settings for mouse sensitivity in my upcoming games.

Thanks for playing and providing feedback.

There was actually uses for walking and Crouch (C- most people ignored it) but I didn't had time for it. Maybe next time.

Thanks for playing and providing feedback

Yeah , I should have tried to tell the lore via notes or in game rather than only mentioning it in the description.

I know about character navigations but I couldn't add any entity bc I already had a story in mind and didn't want to break its logic. Maybe it made this game a walking simulator, sorry about that I should have tried something but I had no idea what to do. I will do better next time.

Any thanks for playing and providing feedback for my game.

I'm sure this will be in top games because of artstyle and gameplay. Just wanna mention that I really liked the incremental difficultly.

Good art style and tanked controls

Thank for playing and giving feedback. I didn't thought it was short that players would be unable to read, I will improve it in future games.

You have used anticipation of horror correctel but the flashes of monsters are really annoying as the game is really dark and suddenly those flashes pop up(my eyes hated it). Aside from that great job at game visuals and gameplay.

No I also wan't able to find the money counter bc of pixelation that made the text blurry(also money counter text was a bit smaller)

This is definetely the most enjoyable game that I have played till now in this jam. The gameplay was really fun.
For feedbacks, I wanna mention that colliders are bit messed up specially in the upper area near the first gate, another thing you have have used a pixel text like the pixel text provided in brackeys tutorial(maybe you were about to do it weren't able to because of timing).
Anyway good job : )

Yeah wanted to play some gba style games in this jam and you nailed it at smoothness and aesthetics. My only complain is that the game was very very short - you could have added more stories or maybe I missed something as the game started again after the ending.
Another feedback that I wanna give is - provide a Browser playable version(if your engine supports it) as many people won't test a jam entry if it's not browser playable. Keep it up bro :)

Yeah I probably should have tried a making a cutscene or maybe a note in forest that which explained why the player was in forest(althought I mentioned it in description) or who is/are communicating with player and had placed those notes in the backrooms region where the player was no clipped to(I didn't had the time to do it cus I'm new to gamedev and jams).
And thanks for checking my game and providing feedback(didn't expected so many of you kind people would test my first game which looks like a complete garbage)

An even bigger twist for me was finding that more than a billion pigs are slaughtered each year.

Thanks for playing my first game and  you completed the game just by the last note XD . I will see if I can remove the bug or not - Thanks brother for mentioning it.

And thanks for playing my first game.

Yeah I also thought of adding text to collectable notes but then a question came to my head related to lore, the player is getting rewarded for collecting notes that backrooms experts need the those must be valuable and most likely unreadable .

Maybe you meant to say how to submit your game in the jam submission.

The process is quite simple, there's a big "submit your game button" then answer asked questions then you will get to choose in how you wanna submit your game

1. Select a previous project, if you have already uploaded your game in your itch account. If you don't know how to upload on itch then watch a tutorial

2. New project, this would ask you to create a new project.

Lol my first thought was - why is mr trump in a horror game. 5/5 for creativity

Well nice use of fog. Maybe you are already planning to create it's second part

Thanks!!

Play checkers while keeping an eye for ghost from left orright, Noiissee.

Started playing for the scifi experience but stayed because of the tension that this game creates. You guys have crafted a really scary experience in such a short time. Thanks for adding a playthrough because, I was stuck where you have to turn on the flashlight, but the reservoir had no power and I was confused on what to do.

Wow you actually finished this.
Your idea had to be the most unique in this game jam. I recently started watching caseoh because of his horror game playthroughs and got to play a game about dating and turning him into a blackhole .

Last scene of this game was hilarious LOL

Thanks you saved me. Gonna use this in godot wild jam, I'll be sure to credit you in the credits and on the itch page, when my game is ready I'll share the link for you to check out. Once again thanks for these asset

It was short but really scary

Thanks buddy for these assets

Can I use it in my game?. I would make sure to credit you.

I thought of adding arrow controls or IJKL for ranged attacks, but I didn't get the time for it. This was my first game jam and also my first game (playable), so I scoped a bit too much for only a 4 day jam. Also sorry for no intro that explains the controls.

Thanks for commenting, I didn't expect anyone to see my game
