Currently debugging the combo's gui which is a bit trickier than I expected. Also working on models for the next floor.

I fixed up Lea's weapon, but instead of it attaching to an enemy, it attaches to the ground instead. I set aside the combo system for now because I don't think it's the highest priority. I've also been spending the last two weeks brainstorming concepts+ starting on models for the 2nd level. I'd been stuck for a while but now I have an idea. FLoor 2 was always going to be water themed, but I'm also going to be focusing on heights for this level to make it feel different from floor 1. I still have the first boss fight to polish up but I'm going to move forward with level 2 for now as a break. Here are some of the models I've been working on.

I recently got some feedback from playtesters, and one big problem was the tutorial slowed everything down to a crawl at the beginning and was crammed in too tightly, so I am working on making it more streamlined. I'm also reworking some of the item pickups, for example the pistol is too easily missed at the beginning. I'm also planning on reworking floor 1 to flow a bit better so there's more action up front. However, I think that'll be for a later update. Example of the new tutorial below.

I've been working on some new models, designing the 2nd level, updating the last bits and pieces of the boss level which still needs story bits finalized. Also, a new combo system for Sera has been fully added. I decided to tie Sera's skills to Lea's weapons and rely on one button. I had the ring menu but that was getting in the way and wasn't very usable. I was thinking of allowing further combo extensions but for now it'll just be one attack. I've also been creating a better tool for level imports. Previously, I was doing a lot of manual copy and paste but that made it really annoying to update levels especially since I planning to update the first level at one point.
