The visuals are really striking and give the game a great mood! The bloodmoon concept is a cool hook. Adding more enemy variety and a bit more challenge in both phases could make it even stronger. Nice work for a jam entry!

I feel like you could've done alot more. First off, I am basically immortal because as long as I just keep on holding left click during bloodmoons, I am always safe. So to be honest it could pretty boring having absoutely no challage. Also, the "challage" is only half the game? I literally dont do anything during the non-bloodmoon phase, because all of those animals look pretty friendly to me. I decided to shoot the non-rabbit animals because they appeared less often but they have so much health during the non-bloodmoon phase I never really got anywhere with that. Anyway, the visuals were really nice. The only reason why I continued played was because of the visuals. I don't know how to give feedback on visuals so I'll just say the visuals really carried your game.
* also if you look at my game, it used to have no challage, but as soon as a added extra enemies like the skeleton, that shoots you, the sage that shoots potions at you, and more, my game suddenly felt like it had a lot more challage and every room you entered would have unique enemies which even though you don't have these rooms, I would highly recommend that this game adds more enemies that actually did diffferent things.
Hey! Thanks for playing !
Yeah i totally agree. My focus on this game was to give immediate feedback on every action. I could've done more and make the game a bit harder, yes absolutely, but due to some things and limitation i purposefully designed it to be an easier experience rather than challenging one, of which what this game initially was. I tested the initial version but i think because my testers are all lean toward a bit of a casual gamer, their feedback is the game was too hard, so i dial it back down to improving the experience rather than iterate through designs of which it's a shame because i didn't have the luxury of time to do that this time, hopefully will be different on the next jam! :D
And yeah the similar feedback regarding the game is the visual, at least i got that going for me for this jam :D. Thank you for taking your time giving me the feedback, no hard feeling taken at all and you're absolutely right about the feedbacks, this will absolutely make me do better later on :) Hopefully you still had a good time playing the game!
I was really confused when I was just shooting animals at first until everyone turned red and had health bars. I like how I was able to get to the ending without much trouble and the shooting powerups near the end made it a satisfying experience. Not sure why theres that fat animal at the end that seems friendly so I wasnt sure if I should attack it but I guess that is for the lying theme.
Thank you for playing !
Actually one of the lies are the lying innocence of the critters there that's suddenly goes berserk on blood moon. The timer is also lying and also yeah the boss is lying haha.
So sorry if the message didn't really come across well, i hope you still enjoy the game as incomplete as it is.
Again, thanks for playing ! :D
just loved the game, my favourite till now!! this is the jam winner to me.
I am in love. It was everything and more :) amazing job on the tension, horror, cute, controls and effects. Played great on my s22 phone
The juices and polish are insane in this game, the overall feel, the sound that the animals made when being shot and dead is really creepy. I also like that there's only ambiance here and no music, really set the tone of uneasiness early on. Great, great job !
I really enjoyed the game and managed to finish it! I liked the 2.5D graphics, and the boss fight was pretty cool. I actually make 2.5D games myself, just in a different genre. The only thing is that I feel like something is missing. Standing in one place and shooting is fun, but I think the gameplay could use a little more variety. I'm just not sure what exactly. Overall, I really liked it!
I had fun playing this, albeit a bit too easy, I could just keep shooting the final boss and tank the damage.
The polish is really good, I like the animations and the feedback. I found the art style a bit inconsistent, some stuff are pixel art, and others are regular drawings. The pixel art could also use some improvements to the pixel density of different assets.
Overall you got yourself a solid game ^^
Thank you for playing the game ! :D
Yep it's intentionally made to be a bit easy, because i kinda suck as a designer :"
Your feedback is truly appreciated, and i agree with your improvement suggestions, It'll be something i'll take into account more in the jams to come :)
again, thank you for playing the game :D
I like the style and gameplay. Played for 10 minutes and had much fun!
Nice shooting with this one! The gun sounds so satisfying when upgraded to max. Maybe it is too easy though. Also the frame rate was stable. Wanna know the lore in this one, lol. For a 4 day game jam, it is a nice little game. i think better you add gore like blood more.
Thaaank you !! your feedback's the best !
Yeah i somewhat purposefully make it a bit easier than it was initially, i'm having a hard time to balance it out. I found the sweet spot of tuning for me, but when i ask my peers to try it it's too hard for them so.. yeah, better to have everyone reach the ending for this jam and leave the fine-tuned difficulty to when this game is developed more later :D
Oh and there is actually a lore for this game, but i'll save it for later stages of the game, i plan to keep developing this game, i think it has a lot of potential :)
Again, thank you for playing, i really hope you have a nice time playing it!
