Maybe I didnt understand how to play but I wasnt able to collect any presents so I thought let's go to the lowest floor. Then I was told to collect the presents. Now I can collect presents but the goblin things keep jumping onto me and spawn camping me so I am in infinite death loop. Then I tried the game again and I was not able to make it very far because their FOV is very large maybe and they don't stop attacking once you notice. Other than that the music and the art were good.
After drinking it I'm not sure if the game just ended cuz Anita started glitching out near the spinning people and nothing I did was able to progress the story. For some reason all the faces were transparent for me. Used Chrome. Other than that, the world and 3d models were nice to look at and I had some high expectations. Hopefully you can finish this game!
Before night fell I think I accidentally collected all the wood so I wasnt able to keep the fire or the lanterns going at all despite basically searching the entire area probably. The graphics were good and coherent to your theme. I wonder how you can procedurally generate crayon style sprites as said in your description? Is it just a filter you added on top of an existing artwork, or did you generate them from scratch? That is very interesting to me.
like another comment mentioned I got soft locked at the task fetch the potatoes from the cellar. So I was not able to progress. Was also confused if hiding in the closet or holding my breath do anything. The game has a lot of visual polish and has arrows to point to the next location which makes it a lot easier to find things and to play. The voices were a nice touch.
played 10 rounds, first set all ties except last one and got stuffed so then I wanted to try stuffing the other players. Second set I won twice and tied the rest and then it just said I won and returned me to the title screen. I wonder if there's multiple endings or if I reached the end of the game?
Got trolled by RAIMI 😭😭😭. Also in the second story at the end the brown creature showed up and threw something and then the game froze for 30 seconds and then some text came up and back to title screen. Not sure if intentional. Gameplay was a little tedious with a lot of walking but dialogue more than made up for it. Good potential...
I had to play it twice to make sure if I wasnt missing anything. First time I just counted 8 and nothing happened in the end. So then I played it again and counted 9 every time and then the picture was empty and I hear a "smile daddy" and the game just ended abruptly. Not sure what to make of it but the atmosphere was good and kept me engaged to play it twice. I also like the camera mechanics.
I was really confused when I was just shooting animals at first until everyone turned red and had health bars. I like how I was able to get to the ending without much trouble and the shooting powerups near the end made it a satisfying experience. Not sure why theres that fat animal at the end that seems friendly so I wasnt sure if I should attack it but I guess that is for the lying theme.
I got that part now. but I am still struggling with moving into the right rooms and getting gear since the player bounces around so much. But I managed to get around 400 points before dying in the dungeons. I did reach the boss room too but I didn't have enough health to survive. Really nice art style and interesting mechanic though.
Is it just one level? After the knife demonstration I saw a red screen with the propaganda style text and I assumed the game ended. I had some trouble drawing the zipper mouth but maybe because I played the web version. The guy who kept calling me little Timmy made me feel very uncomfortable which I assume was the point. Good graphics and has potential
I am wondering what we should do for the rating process.
I have rated more than half the games by now (mostly low rating games since that is what the page seems to suggest). However, our game has just 5 ratings, and majority of ratings are concentrated in a few top games.
I have begun to leave a few comments/feedback in case this is what is expected, but just wanted to confirm the expectations before it is too late since this is our first game jam on itch, so we are new to this.

If anyone is interested, our game is Peep the animal :/jam/bezi-jam-14/rate/5239929. It has PS1 style horror graphics.
The controls are simple and takes 1-2 minutes to play. We have composed custom music and drawn all the art during the 4 days.
If anyone has any feedback on what we should do for rating games please let us know. And if anyone is willing to try our game, we would be very grateful as well.
The beginning UI was a bit confusing but I quickly figured out the drink stuff after getting some wrong orders. I like how u had voices for every character. I was a bit confused about the story and I got to one of the endings. The middle person is probably not good.... Good potential and complete game
