Thank you for visiting False Tracks and for the kind note! I really enjoyed Sunny Meadows — the seven-day structure at the children's home is so effective, especially how ordinary chores like wiping up the kitchen floor and carrying laundry to the cellar turn quietly unsettling, and how Dread and Suspicion make the house and the street feel like they're closing in at the same time. The three endings give that creeping story a great payoff.

This game is just AMAZING! loved the environment, the 3d pixel art style, the execution and nice little jumpscares too.

Great atmosphere! The cheerful jazz against the creepy caretaker is such an effective contrast, and the sense of dread building day by day really worked. Nice job!

like another comment mentioned I got soft locked at the task fetch the potatoes from the cellar. So I was not able to progress. Was also confused if hiding in the closet or holding my breath do anything. The game has a lot of visual polish and has arrows to point to the next location which makes it a lot easier to find things and to play. The voices were a nice touch.

Really like that idea!

The cheerful music mixed with the caretaker being creepy gave me chills. The mechanics and story is really well done and I never knew what to expect around every corner. A lot of work was put into the feel, look and just overall atmosphere that had me wondering what is next. Awesome submission!

Full score for this one!
The feeling of helplessness day by day. You tried to avoid the impending doom, but failed every time and the creepy guy always one step ahead of you.
When i ran, the lady next door call me and when i was talking to her, the monster caught me :( She is a (unintended) collaborator!
The polish is so good, the story and dialog, the environment storytelling, the jazz music. Damn!
I wish i can make a game like this in 4 days.
Superb, dev!

I think I was playing the game for an hour, it caught my attention! Initially the font wasn't easy to read, but later I got used to it. I liked the atmosphere and I knew what's going on and wanted to punish the woman. Sadly the game got stuck for me where I had to get potatoes from the cellar, but it was infinitely locked:( Hopefully there's a good ending and we can punish the killer.. Great submission!

This is remarkable. Gives "Hello Neighbor" and "Weird Strict Dad" vibes.
So much level building and story. I'm super impressed.

I think I got stuck though. On fetching potatoes.

I don’t know how that happened because it happed while testing only once but the only fix for that is to go to the main menu and restart the current day again, but thank you for your feedback :)

I promise it is still an amazing experience. Truly some wizardry

An absolutely incredible game—the story, the atmosphere, and the mechanics are all fantastic. It’s so terrifying; I felt like I’d actually been kidnapped! Wishing you every success!

The way your page lists the chores is chilling. 'It is tomato sauce.' is such a good line, and watching ordinary tasks slowly get more sinister over seven days is a great structure for dread. A first-person pixel-horror children's home with a very kind caretaker is a really distinctive setting.

If you have about 10 minutes, I'd be really grateful if you'd give my entry Forever a play. It's a pastel dating-app horror set in Valentine's week, with two endings, and it runs right in your browser. An honest rating or any feedback would mean a lot!

This game looks sick! Will check it later. My head is so dizzy because of motion sickness from all those fps games.

Developer

Thank you, I'll check your game out later when I'm home too

Oh man.. the sound it makes when a character inside a dialogue appear..  Reminds me of analogue horrors.. It's so creepy..

Pretty cool !
