Really enjoyed the atmosphere. The tension builds nicely, and the rooms and safe spots feel carefully made, there's a lot of detail in them.

A few things from my run:

- It wasn't obvious how to eat the donuts. I had to guess, so a small prompt the first time would help.
- Two small bugs: at the left edge of one room the character stands right on the wall and the flashlight beam goes out into the black void past it. In another spot a wall picture overlaps the character's head, and he seems to float over the ladder opening in the floor.
- Lighting: in a lit room, the room gets brighter or darker depending on whether I face left or right, even without the flashlight. Room light that doesn't change with facing would feel more natural.

Great base for a horror game, good luck with it!

I'm in the jam too with Second Tail, a 2D platformer about two rats in a cold city: https://para1992.itch.io/second-tail

I'll definitely look into the issues you mentioned. Thanks again for your support and helpful suggestions!
